Minor gynecomastia in 18 yr old

hey,

im 18 yrs old and suffer from mild gynecomastia. i had an appointment with a plastic surgeon today and said that lioposuction would be the best option. My gynecomastia is composed of fatty tissue, not glandular tissue. Just wondering if any1 my age with pseudo-gynaecomastia has had liposuction and the type of scaring they had?  i was quite alarmed to find out that the surgeon said in most cases, patients require further surgery after liposuction to make everything perfect.

the endo probably won't have much to say about lipo vs excision, his/her specialty is the underlying causes to make sure recurrence is unlikely.  the second opinion would be another ps if you were in doubt about the composition of the gyne, but it doesn't sound like you are.  often with lipo they come in sideways from under the arms, so scarring might be in the area the cannula moved around in, but hopefully it won't be bad.
