My Scar Tissue

Hi everyone, I just realized that my doctor did indeed remove a lot of gland as I previously didn't believe him. The hard mass I have been feeling is scar tissue! I have a huge amount of scar tissue under the incision. The reason I created this thread was to ask about it. Should I be massaging it or something? Also, how long will it take to go away? I have a feeling I will be much flatter when it goes away.

Yes. You should be massaging it. I recommend using some cocoa butter with vitamin E.

It could take a year to go away completely. Hopefully not that long, but it is possible.

How did you all the sudden realize that it is scar tissue?

Well I had been reading about scar tissue but I forgot that it felt very similar to the gland. I was feeling the "gland" when I realized that it was only directly under the incision. Also, it helped having all the bandages off. Boy do I have a lot of it also  :-/!
