No, you can feel very little when it is done! I removed my own in some of the surgeries the I had myself, it's no big deal it all!
When I had my knees replaced with prostedices, they used staples to close up the skin instead of thread and even removing those were not to bad! I could feel that a little more but still no pain!
You will be fine my friend, nothing to worry about!
