I had a revision surgery back in September of last year, had both Lipo and Excision this time around.

My right side looked good after surgery and looks good today as well, however my left side looked just like a crater (chest/nipple sunked into the chest wall), I had gone to the doctor one month post op in regards to that but he said to wait around 8 months and it should clear out as he suspected it was scar tissue.

I did feel the lumps all along but they were never painful, now almost 7 months in, the left side still looks like a crater with no improvement but the lump is now pretty painful when I massage it/touch it.

Is this normal? Does the fact that my scar tissue lump is painful when touched mean the scar tissue is finally breaking down? will my crater finally go away?

Doctors, May I please have your input on my case in your personal experience?
