PLEASE HELP!! ABNORMAL BLOOD RESULTS!!

I have just received back blood test results from an independent lab and I have been told the results in red are abnormal! Is it safe for me to have gynecomastia surgery?

Follice Stimulating Hormone (FSH) : 19.33 mIU/ml
Luteinising Hormone (LH) : 10.1 mIU/ml
Estradiol (E2) : 23.4 pg/ml
17-hydroxy-progesterone : 2.07 ng/ml
Total Testosterone : 20.24 nmol/L
Albumin : 48.8 g/L
Sex Hormone Blinding Globulin (SHBG) : 60.3 nmol / L
Free Testosterone : 0.276 nmol/L ~ 1.36%

Thyroid, Proclatin, Cortisol, ACTH, DHEA, hCG and Growth Hormone have all come back normal. PLEASE HELP!!

I'm no doctor, but it seems you have a hormonal imbalance. As far as any other answers, you should be asking the doctor who ordered the tests and/or a surgeon.

In general, it is wise to determine (and possibly treat) the causes of hormonal imbalances prior to any elective gynecomastia surgery.  Otherwise, one would run the risk of a recurrence of the gynecomastia after surgery.

I do not think surgery is a good idea for you at this time.  I think you should see an Endocrinologist.  Now there is a further problem because there are specialties within  that field.  One might specialize in Diabetes and another in liver disease etc.   You want a Doctor who has a special interest in reproductive issues.   Likewise an Endocrinologist who specializes in issues of growth and Puberty would be of help as well.    I agree completely with Dr Jacobs.
