Hey everyone I just had surgery this past morning, Friday 12/19. I was wondering if it is ok to drink alcohol say tomorrow or this upcoming week, or is it beneficial in any way to hold off for a bit? Basically just wondering whether drinking too soon would be harmful in any way (mostly just wondering because I know alcohol thins your blood). Thanks.

Hold off on the drinking. I would just be safe and wait several weeks.

I gave it 2 weeks after the surgery before starting to drink again.

Yeah, I would say 2 weeks also... However, don't go on a bender dude... Have a few... Moderation is the key word...  ;)
