Im 10 days post op, i know its early. but my left nipple is slightly puffy no where near as how it was before i can now wear tshirts but can swelling cause puffiness, plus towards the side of my chest i feel something hard is this probably scar tissue or swelling? thanks

10 days can be very early after surgery with some techniques.

Posting Standard After Gynecomastia Pictures can help other better understand your concerns.

Firm tissues after surgery can be residual gland, but also can just be healing tissues or scars.  Different surgical techniques injure tissues to different degrees. Time to tissues softening can vary depending on the original problem, what was done, after surgery care,
Scar Care, After Surgery Compression Garments, and many other factors. Asking your own doctor is the best first choice as to what is going on.  Patience to see how tissues evolve is the next best in most situations.

If the problem does not resolve, options depend on the problem to be treated. Time can range from 6 months to a year but can vary depending on many issues best explored with your doctor.

Much too early to diagnose -- it could be swelling, residual gland or simply that you slept on one side more than the other (that's why I recommend sleeping squarely on your back).

Relax, stay cool and don't worry about it.  It takes as much as 6-8 weeks to see some early results of the surgery (after much of the swelling has subsided).  If indeed the same situation is present at that time, then you might want to discuss it candidly with your surgeon.

In no event should you consider doing any revision surgery until at least 6 months has passed.
