Questions to ask your surgeon

Hi, I was just wondering what are some questions to get to know your doctor and find out how experienced he may be.  I would like to start to find out more about certain surgeons and was just curious about this.  TY

Ask your sugeons how many particular gyne surgeries they have performed. Then ask them to see some pictures of past gyne patients. Before and after pictures. Then ask them the method they use and what results they usually achieve. Remember some surgeons are more skilled than others at particular surgeries. Ask the surgeon about incisions and scarring. Also not a question but, how does the particular surgeon make you feel. Like do you feel confident with them performing your surgery. If it feels right and you can clairify most of this than you are probably in good hands. Hope I was of some help. Good luck
