Hi,

Long time lurker and 2 time gyno patient, with eventually going for a 3rd op to finally get rid of my moobs.
Anyway, I apologize if this has been discussed before, but I saw this on Fox News.com today.
Seems an insurance company was sued and has to pay for this boy's surgery. Chalk one up for the little guy!!! Hopefully, this can get some recognition and maybe even one day have these surgeries paid for more easily.

Actually, the surgery cost the father $7500. The Ins. Co. was ordered to pay $5000.

"The condition suffered by plaintiff's son was characterized by plaintiff's medical providers as a 'deformity' and, particularly in the case of a 17-year-old male, clearly a devastating condition with 'psychosocial' consequences."

That just about sums it up!
