Scar tissue behind nipple/areola

I have the same problem, it sucks i did it in may 2016, the recovery hs been very slowly my right side suffer alot and still have that damn scar tissue under areola and also little bruised, but im in my 9th month is it normal?

Im exactly like you. Im even worst becasue I only had unilateral and the nipple became darker than the healthy one. But ive been shirtless around friends and no one noticed, didnt even look a it so it may be worst only in our minds. Anyways, ill wait for the full year and if it doesnt get flatter then ill start the cortisone treatment
