I dont remember how long ive had this, but i know im not over weight. Im 16 years old, im 5 10" and weigh 180lbs.
This really effects me in different ways, i hate to stand straight , i hate togo swimming, im not confident, its bringing me down.
Ive contacted a near by gynecomastia doctor over email and sent him some pics of my condition, and he agrees that i have it. He said i should go with my parents for a consultation and he would explain everything. But i havent talked to my parents about this.
Heres some pics of my condition.

Sorry, man you do have it. Trust me it sucks to have at your age or any age.
Talked to your parents. What's the worse that can happen.

Every night ive been doing 100-150 situps and 35-50 pushups, as for pushups trying to build my chest and see if any difference. Nothing yet, and i kinda dont suspect anything to change

You have it man. Wait till after your hormones settle down (18-20) and get it sorted. In the mean time that workout routine isn't going to do much for you. Head over to www.muscletalk.co.uk or www.crossfit.com (depending on your goals) for help with a workout routine.

Thanks for that video, i think im gonna talk to my dad about it tonight. =)
And can certain foods cause this? When i was growing up baseball was my life from ages 4-13. When i was about 7 or 8 my dad had me start eating peanut butter and honey sandwiches to make me stronger. I got big, but i wasnt overweight for my age, with constant baseball playing  i simply burned off the sandwiches. I stopped eating them around age 10, witch was also the time i started to notice my breasts were getting larger.

10 was also when your hormones start changing, more likely puberty than peanut butter and honey sandwiches.

Well told my parents!!! And to find out my dad also had it, when he was my age he was buff, with semi large breasts, he just thought that it was from him working out at a young age. So were gonna see how the next few months go with workouts, diets, and lifting weights.  ;D ;D ;D

Good job buddy! A lot easier when someone in your family is aware of it.

One of my dads friends had it, so when i talked to him he was very understanding. Were gonna see if its a weight issue, so im gonna drop from 180lbs to 165, and see if any change. So during the next couple of months i will be updating yall with information. Starting monday, its time to work ;D

Its been 1 month since ive been here, all i have been doing is eating right, benching, pushups, etc.
I know weigh 165lbs, lost 15 pounds, and i can tell where i lost the weight. As my stomach is getting smaller, i havent noticed a difference in my chest, so as i may fear, i probably have gynecomastia. 1 more month of hard working, running, and working out at my schools pavilion, ill be able to tell for sure. I will keep yall updated  ;D

I saw your pics, you are the same age as me, but weight 70lbs more than i do. It can be from weight, at our age, we should range about 160-175 lbs for a toned person. Do what im doing, eat good, lift weights, run, exercise, get into off season football, im thinking of doing that just for my health, get me stronger more fit. If i were you, just do what im doing, all the above for a couple of months, and see the later results  ;D

Man, do I get flashbacks thinking about when I was 16 with this.  Here's the funny thing:  I grew up in a house on the beach.  Summers were a bummer.

I've been there, my friend.  Best thing you ever did was tell your dad.  You've laid the groundwork for years to come.  I wouldn't recommend surgery right away (listen to yoru dad for now).  But, you may want to consider it in a few years.  Whatever you do, if it bothers you for years to come, the more life goes on, the more you'll wish you would have taken care of it earlier in life.

That's from experience.

Shit... the last scene there actually made me cry a little bit. That's a brave guy(well, they all are for participating in that video), and what a fantastic girl!
