Hi All

I had my surgery on 15th October, and feel I have recovered pretty quickly. I am not that sore anymore, all the bruising has gone, and is only slightly swollen at the moment with some water retention.

However, obviously I have now been sat around doing nothing for 3 weeks now, I am starting to pile on the pounds, so want to get back in the gym!

Obviously I won't be using weights yet, but would I be ok just using the bike or treadmill to shed some fat? Or could it cause some complications?

You should be able to go to the gym no problem, just don't workout your chest directly or stress it at all, it could lead to more swelling which you don't want. From what I've read online, you should be able to workout your chest 4-6 weeks post op. Wait 6 just to be safe.
My surgery was done on Oct 20th, 2014 by Dr. J. Craig Fielding in Toronto, Ontario.

Great news - I'll start some light training on Saturday then!

Thanks!
