Read my post below titled "Numbness - Please Help". Corvette09 has some useful information posted in it.

I bought a body lotion today that is infused with vitamin E. I applied it thoroughly after showering and my itch situation seems to be much improved so far.

A few users on liposuction boards mention the itch is related to liposuction damage to nerve endings. As the endings begin to heal and re-establish there connections, itching seems to be a common side affect that lasts from a few days to a few weeks!

The itching you have after surgery is due to temporary disruption of the fine sensory nerve fibers to your skin.  It usually lasts about 1-2 weeks (extremely variable).  There is no good treatment that I have found -- cold compresses may help but applications of cremes, powders or taking Benadryl are useless.  Just grin and bear it, sorry.
