i'm eleven days post op and i noticed i have some hard bumps on various places on my chest. i'm guessing they are scar tissue. when are you supposed to start massaging the scar tissue, should i wait till the swelling has subsided?..........also is massaging the best way to rid yourself of scar tissue?

one week post op start massaging - to lessen get rid of scar tissue.  rub moderately 3 times a day.  each time, rub for a total of 5 minutes, so 2.5 mins on either side. rub in circles, with or without cream/gel/etc

You will soon start to feel scar tissue under or around the nipple. Just a heads up!! Don't rub the nipple area, could end up damaging the fresh tissue. Good luck!!

Massaging is not mandatory, it can quicken the vanishing of the swollen areas though.
