got this from another board.........not from me

Just wanted to give a little personal experience with Aromasin since not too many bros have used it. The shit is ****ing great. I went on 1/2 pill ed for 1 week along with 40mg nolv (started the nolv halfway through that week) and the gyno I had (which was acquired in the past 4 months) is almost completely gone. I had a little gyno from way back when but I think even that is a bit smaller. It's crazy the change and how quickly it occured. Sure it's a bit expensive but it's a LOT cheaper than surgery....plus you can def get away with running 1/2 pill eod (although if you are trying to get rid of gyno I'd say stick to 1/2 pill ed) so that's 1 pill every 4 days. I've only seen one bro who carries it and he is charging 3.50 per pill but that works out to less than a dollar per day....not too bad IMO, especially since supposidly it does not have the same negative effect on HDL like femara or armidex/liquidex.

I am always very sceptical about drug-therapy for treating gynaecomastia as I have not yet seen any conclusive data or results.

Do you have a URL link to the above quote?

Drug therapies do work to differing degrees.

As stated in the other thread.

Get the Glen D Braustein 1993 paper Gynecomastia and view the Evaluation section.

Once you have had a look let me know what you think of the various results.

Hypo is usually so complete that there is nothing left to say. This time he left the door ajar just a bit.

You'll note he said "Drug Therapies".

What is implied is that the drugs are part of the treatment program administed and monitored with competent medical supervision.

I know of no OTC medications available for self treatment which are both safe and effective.

  • Breasts belong on women!
He mentioned he started getting gyne 4 months previous.  I highly doubt this drug would do a damn thing to anybody who has had gyno for years.

altering your hormones creates phenotypic outcomes..

womens breasts sag when they hit meanapause.  They shrink.

they have had them their whole life.

it doesn't matter how long uve had breast tissue.. altering hormones around will do something.

for those who have huge cases, and have had a substantial amount of time, ofcource anti-estrogens aren't going to be as affective as somone with a minor case, who has developed recently.

no real evidence to support the recent occurce responding better to anti-estrogens

could just be faulty logic.. if recent occurence did happen then chances are the case is very small/not severe

so       the chances of reversing it, or it going awwy from drug therapy is more likely than somone with a D cup let's say.

anyway tons of studies showing tamixfene/raloxifene/dht working on those who have had it a long time anyway so i can reference those to prove u r quite wrong anyway

And prove what exactly?

These are medications that should ONLY be used if prescribed by a competent endocrinologist or similar specialist.

More than half of the people on this board are aware of these medications and there use and in fact some of us know what the results are from various studies and trials etc.

You are not saying anything that has not been said a thousand times before on this board.

P.S

It is called Tamoxifen ;)

lol I am sorry to chime in here like this but seriously when will hypo stop. The poster posted this from another board. Not from his personal experience, and he gets insulted. I remember last year when I was pre surgery on here under another user name. Hypo was advocating the use of Andractim (spelling error) use for people. He was even giving websites to buy it from. Andractim is a prescription drug....I guess now Hypo learned something and decides to preach that prescriptions are bad to use. ROFLOL

Absolute lies!!

This website has a backlog of all posts, so show me one iota of proof for these accusations.

Come on!!!!!!

Show me!!!

Show me one occasion where I have advocated self medication within this forum.

What I have done in the past is advocated the use of Andractim by enodcrinologists and argued for its use in this setting, but that is a world away from your accusations.

Not only that but when I first came to this site a poster named Gruff was advocating the self medication of Andractim and I argued long and hard about such actions.

Furthermore I have always critisized the people that sell Andractim on the internet and have NEVER offered their details to someone looking to self medicate.

Now I shall say no more because I do not have to defend myself in the complete absence of any evidence/proof.

The burdon of proof in this world is that one is innocent until proved guilty.

So come on prove your case!!!

Now seeing as how you are full of crap and there is no truth to your accusations I will sit back in the warm glow of innocence knowing that you will undoubtedly not be able to provide evidence or proof whatsoever.

Hunt away- I am innocent so I fear nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only thing that could really piss me off is what you have done because I have provided hundreds of hours on this website over the years in order to help people and don't deserve the mud you are slinging.

Maybe some of the hundreds of people I have helped and spent time helping would also like to come forward and vouch for my character?

But I guess that is for them.

In any event, I know your wrong and I know I never did anything that you are saying that that you are going to look an ass when you can't locate a single post that supports your claims despite the fact that every one of my posts remains on record.

P.S

The old name is hypo- you and anyone else is welcome to seach- I welcome any investigation of my record by anyone.

Don't slam the door hypo, we need you, and I do in particular as you wil see in one or two days. This guy that taunts you is more or less a new bie (see the number of his posts, unless he's changed his name). He will realise he's quite wrong. But, after all, he's one of us, suffering or having suffered from this da**d disgrace.

The guy who has slated (probably doesn't even realize he was having a right pop)  me is NOT a newbie.

He was here last year as he has said under a different name and he is accusing me of two things A) advising self medication of prescription drugs on the site and B) of providing the internet address for would-be self prescribers to get hold of a prescribed drug.

I have NOT done either of these things at any point on this forum which is why I welcome him or anyone else to go back and look at ANY and ALL of my posts to see if this accusation is true.

If anyone can find one instance of such I would like them to provide it in this thread.  Not that anyone will be able to do it because it has not happened.

Don't worry I'm not going anywhere brm.

Bignip- you didn't start anything my friend.

The guy who was having a pop at me didn't even read my post properly, because if he had he would have realized I was not quoting/referring to anything you said at all (check my post out).

I was quoting mrfantastic.  My point if a little harsh was that most of us at the site are faily aware of the actions of the drugs he mentioned and that they are best prescribed by a professional nothing more.

Because I have put in enormous efforts to help people on the boards- a hell of a lot of hours in, the things he said is probably one of the few things that would really annoy me these days- as it calls into question everything that I have been trying to do.

I tell you what though I am prepared to say and hold my hands up to though and it is this.

Privately (not within this forum) there has been ONE occasion where I did offer hundreds of pounds of Andractim (that was prescribed to myself) to a man in Costa Rica with glandular gynecomastia, who because of his financial circumstances could never have afforded surgery- ever.

I offered to give it to him and was going to offer to pay the postage of it from the UK to Costa Rica because I felt very sad for his situation and wanted to give him some chance, if only a small one of escaping gynecomastia in his life.

I know this may not be right and you can argue the morality back and forth.

Now it would have been impossible for anyone to find this out, because it was not within the forum and I am 100% innocent of what I am accused of in this forum.

But my concience offers this evidece against myself and if you want to beat me with it so be it.

I am still 100% against self medication and the only time I have not been was in this very particular individual situation where I thought that my morality was doing this man no favours.

Right or wrong the offer still stands to this man given his plight in what isn't a part of the western world.
