hey guys just to say that i went to see a urologist today. he was slightly shocked when i told him how i had been treatedby the endo, who offered me no explanation.

the urologist has got me to have a load blood tests, and wants me to have an ultraound to check whether my variocele could have caused my testicular atrophy (im only 19). slightly more worrying is the fact that he wants me to have a head x ray to check my pituitary as it is producing so much lh and fsh. i think he is just being sure, and that elevated lh and fsh are sympptomatic of testicualr failure. also when i was on trt my lh and fsh turned off, so hopefully i dont think there is anything i hsould be worrying about.

in any event, i hope that my hypergoandism is caused by testicular atrophy due to variocle, as my genetic test is normal, and i produce sperm, just not much off (does this rule out sertoli only syndrome).

any commetns would be appreicated

I too am shocked at your experience with the Endo.

But it sounds like you are now on the right track with a different specialist.

In case there is someone else out there who has had a bad experience with an Endocrinologist,  Another person who knows a good bit about breasts and reproductive issues would be a Gynecologist.  Since men often accompany their wives on pre-natal visits, you would probably not be the only man in the waiting room.
