I had 34 grams of gland cut out, but 400ml of fat aspirated. So my case was 90% fat and 10% gland. So now I am thinking did i even need surgery, is 34 grams more than the average man has of gland? How would 34 grams of tissue even look (right 19, left 15) if I lost all the fat before surgery?
Why is liposuction almost always required for gyno surgery, the issue is usually always a combination of excess fat and gland. Does the presence of gland cause fat to build up in the area (and not go away easily), or is it vice versa?
Thanks in advance!

The total of fat and gland amounts to about 14 1/2 ounces.   Just shy of a pound or two cups.  So put a cup full of something semi solid in each of two zip lock bags and put that in front of your chest.   It might put the amount of fat and tissue removed into perspective.  Another way to visualize it might be to take a pound of hamburger and separate it into two balls then shape each ball into a mound.
