What are some good ways to get rid of scar tissue?

I am about 5 months post-op and still have scar tissue under my right nipple.  The left is pretty much completely healed but the tissue on the right doesn't seem to want to go away.  Are there any methods other than massaging it?  What have others done to get rid of the scar tissue?

Massaging is usually to help break down scar tissue underneath the skin.

There are scar lotions which help with the appearance of scar tissue, including coco butter.
