Southern California, and a week at the Lake

I just returned from a week camping at Silverwood Lake SRA here in Southern California.

What I observed was odd to say the least. Most of the men at the swim area were wearing shirts. In fact only 1 man in 7 was bare chested.

The 1 in 7 relationship applied to the women as well, but in reverse with only 1 in 7 wearing more than a bikini top above the waist.

I have no idea what to make of that. Are all men that shy these days?

I don't think there is a true regional distinction.

It is obvious that the condition does not bother some people while others become emotional wrecks.
