harmonal gynecomastia

Hello.  How do you know if your gyne is harmonal?  I've been told if this is the case, than surgery is not for me??

Get blood work done to check hormonal levels. The reason why the surgery is not recommended if your hormonal levels are out of balance, is because gynecomastia can re-grow after your operation if the problem is hormonal.

I believe its possible to have a hormonal imbalance at any age, however its probably more common before the age of 21.
