Hi,

I've had puffy nips for about the last 7 years (Im 22 now). I don't need to repeat what I go through on a daily basis, as im sure many of you go through the same. I 'came out' today and told my family about my problem. (I emailed them as I still can't talk about it in person). I know I definitely have some form of gyne because I am an avid weighlifter, and have gotten to single digit bodyfat% with only minimal impact on my puffed nips. So here is my question...

Is there someone I should see before getting a consultation with a plastic surgeon? I read a couple people recommending to get your Testosterone levels checked. (Im not sure this is in issue as I can put on muscle fairly easily as long as my calories are in check)..If i DO happen to have low testosterone levels though, would bringing them back to normal have any affect on my nips? I really appreciate any help.

Thanks

Hi

I think gyne with puffy nipples caused by hormones are most common in teen years. Your hormones might be fine but you've had gyne for so long it won't fix itself. I'm no expert but i don't think it can go away on its own after 7 years but i guess it wouldn't hurt to take a hormone test. I'm no doctor but i just thought u should atleast get an answer, good luck man

I had test problems and I noticed a slight decrease in my puffy areolas when I corrected the hormonal issue.

Is there any Doc's on here that might be able to put some insight toward my question. Can Puffy Nips be reversed after almost 8 years if there is an underlying hormonal in balance that gets corrected? My guess is no..

Thanks for your help. I really do appreciate it.
