Last May I had a very successful experience with excision and lipo by surgeon Richard Albin, MD in Denver, Colorado - I learned of him from a previous post on this site. Unfortunately my previous posts were lost and I've had to re-register due to technical difficulties, but go to "User Photos" where I've posted more on my situation - or go here to see all my pictures:

surgery with him cost me 4125 (2008)

Hey he actually has a pic of those foam pads you keep going on about.  Never seen those before...what are they supposed to do?

Sorry I took so long to respond; I had some problems logging on to the site for quite some time. It looks like that's been fixed now.

Some doctors appear to like those pads and others don't, I guess. I understood from Dr. Albin that the point of the pads was to promote bonding of the tissue after surgery. I'll bet they aren't that necessary if the amount of tissue removed is pretty minor, but hey, I wasn't exactly Mae West but I definitely had some big ones before the surgery!  ;D

I'm sorry I've been off the thread for so long and hope I won't lose access again. If you have any questions feel free to send me a personal message and I'll try to respond ASAP.

PS: It's now been a year since my surgery and I'm very happy with the results.
