My question is, post op, does the tissue under the nipple come right up to the areola? Like does the areola lay flat on the tissue? Im post op and i feel like there is some space between the nipple and the tissue under it. My nipple does appear to be flat though. But if a press it with my finger, i can push back farther than i could just pressing an inch over on another part of my chest. My areola has some creases and I thought maybe this could be part of the problem. If anyone can weigh in on this, thatd be great.

I guess what im trying to say is, even though the skin appears to lie flat against the chest, it feels like there is a gap beneath the skin, as compared to what it feels like on other parts of my chest, whihc is just skin, a little fat, then muscle. Any input?
