4 - 6 weeks makes sense for weights, but does anyone know when you can start doing cardio  = Jogging etc ?

Is it when you feel good enough ?

Scar tissue is inevitable but it goes away with time.  I wouldn't worry about that too much

just saw the dr for a 1 week followup. He said I am healing well and can now resume light cardio - he suggested long walks, or even mild jogging would be ok as long as I don't push it too far. I am glad for this since I've been so inactive for the last week and have probably gained a few pounds ! I will start walking tonight.

He suggested about 3-4 more weeks before I start with weights.
