Hello, I had my surgery 2 years back. After the surgery I developed a hematoma which was injected with Kenalog.

The hematoma shrunk down, but now I often find myself being a little insecure about the side that had the hematoma. It seems to be a bit bigger and still has a sort of breast shape compared to the other side, like something seems to be inside (it's softer tissue, but it still seems like tissue or fluid).

I was told that Kenalog shots "soften" scar tissue. But what happens after that? Does it stay in the body as a fluid? does it get absored? or maybe it needs to get drained?
