Wondering if chronic stress and anxiety could lead to or contribute to gynecomastia because I have read that stress and anxiety increase prolactin?

I'm certainly not a Dr. but the fact is that you can honestly blame almost anything on anxiety, stress or depression and be right at least part of the time. To complicate things even further, some of the medications used to treat anxiety and/or depression list Gynecomastia as a possible side effect.

I would be tempted to say have a glass of wine and chill out except that the alcohol may reduce liver function a bit and in some men this could cause Gynecomastia.

As you can see, this line of thought goes nowhere but simply runs in circles.
