So for the guys that have been there, I was checking the hospital web site and thought the last line about the food and beverage in the rooms was classic

The BMI will only let you order alcoholic drinks if your consultant agrees........ I never had the cheek to ask to be honest......... but I wonder if this hospital is the same?


No doubt it costs extra too.

I was more concerned what state the wife will be in by the time I come back from theatre

You don't get that on the NHS !

Mate - It's a treat....

When you arrive, someone comes down and takes you to your room!

Then the nurse comes to say hello - she looks after you personally all day! The menu is there waiting for you to decide what you'd like when you come round   

There's a TV, your own bathroom, a comfy bed, some slippers and a dressing gown! Better than a five star hotel 'cos you wake up with NO GYNE 

It's a great day out
