12 days post-op- Left nipple is still depressed and parts around are swelled

It's been 12 days post surgery. Right nipple is okay. But left nipple seems to be still depressed and parts around seems to be swelled still.

When I asked doctor, he did not care much about it. And I remember him saying it will get normal. Should I worry about it?

Don't worry about it. Right now, it's way too early to tell how much of it is just swelling, bruising, etc., so wait about a month or two before you start to worry.

My left nipple was really bruised and seemed a little depressed versus the right side, which was sticking out all the way through it and wasn't bruised, after surgery, but now that I'm past four months, both nipples are about equal looking, although the left nipple is a bit darker than the right.
