Title: Exposure to sun after surgery

Hi

Had surgery 1 month tomorrow. Could any one tell when when it OK to exposure your chest to the Sun because am due to go on holiday in 15 weeks and i would like to know if it will be fine

Dude....

I'm sure it would be okay by the 5 month mark to introduce your chest to the sun.

Id like to add to this question. I had my surgery about 5 weeks ago and Im healing very well.  im planning on tanning hard core during the summer and i was wondering was some of the risks are to my insision area could be.

Tanning will make your scars more pronounced.  If they get tanned they may never fade. Use 30 or better on the scars.
