Hey it's been 3 weeks post op. I only had lip, I REALLY like the results so far, but there's STILL hard tissue under my the nipple area. It's not BAD, but it would look GREAT without it. I was wondering if I should just give it more time or is that scar tissue should of been gone by now? I wore a compression vest for 2 weeks post op, my doctor said I wouldn't need it longer than that since he only did lipo.

Also, theres very minimal scar tissue on one side, and a lot more on the other side...

Should I be worried? Or is 3 weeks with scar tissue normal?

And is there a possibility the scar tissue is permanent?
This IS scar tissue right? I feel hard tissue, but it feels numb.

Should I put compresion back on it?

Although optional, wearing a compression garment is always good for faster healing.

if your doc says its not necessary, ask him if its ok to wear it during day and take it off while you sleep.

If you only had lipo, what you are feeling is your breast gland, which would obviously still be there, and probably a lot more prominent now that the fat is gone.  And that is not going to go away.  Any scar tissue will eventually heal up...(give it about 6 months).  However, I can't see why there would be much scar tissue since you only had lipo.  From what I gather reading on this forum, scar tissue is more attributed with glandular excision.
Surgery done 18th March 2008
