ok SO i finally had my surgery on Tuesday and today i went to go get the drainage tubes out. So They took them out today and they told me i should remove my patches tomorrow nigth and same thing on sunday night. Now they said if my chest gets swolen (becuase of the liquid, the drainage, i need to come back) .

Now my questions are if it does get swollen, with the liquid, the drainage, is it painfull to get it taken out? And also how long before my chest gets back to normal size and that "under-lump" (idk what to call it) goes away? Any insight and Personal experience would be very much appreciated.

Picture of what i am talking about:

The picture makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
You are better off posting a photo of what you are talking about.

I had a minor hematoma, so I went back to get it drained out. My doctor used a large syringe and pressed the hematoma to withdraw the blood. It was pretty uncomfortable
