I got a Wound Drainage Reserveoir until next Tuesday, the Doctor took out the glands but did not use Liposuction,   Today I got courious of how will I look, and decided to check, MY Surprise was that the chest now is not completely flat, but with some sort of holes on the nipples location, is not That bad as i have seen here on the forum, but im scared.. i went to the Dr told about it and he said that is normal, that everything will look good in some months, what do u think?? do i have these Craters people talk on the forum?? are they as bad as I Think??? will it get normal with some time?? what can i do from now on to improve this???? im planning on weight lifting later...  Sorry for the pics Took them with my cellphone..

can't see a clear case of cratering here. Anyway, it's too early to say anything about it. Just lay back, relax and everything should look good in a few months.

Crater Deformity Complications after Gynecomastia Surgery come in many different degrees. How Tissues Evolve and Heal After Male Breast Reduction depend on the original problem, what was done, skill of the surgeon, and many other factors. Each doctor has his / her own methods and techniques. Although tissues tend to remodel after surgery, a natural contour is much better place to start. I have never left an elective gynecomastia chest sculpture with a crater defect.

Standard After Gynecomastia Surgery Pictures can better show the degree of possible deformities.

Hope this helps,

Drains will tend to slow the process down, something I normally just do not need for my patients. But when I need to use them, recovery just takes longer. Tissues need to heal before considering stressing healing wounds. Such questions are best directed to your own surgeon.
