i was just wondering how long i should expect to see good results for scarring...atm one scar looks slightly hypertrophic and has spread passed the arolar border slightly...

do they usually lower/shrink/become smaller...or should i just expect bad scars

im 2weeks and 4 days post op

Like with everything else, everybody's different with scarring.  Scars can look progressively worse for up to 6 to 8 months, but then will begin to fade and smooth out over time.  A year or more could be expected before the scars have faded all they are going to.  On the other hand, some people seem to get by a lot better with hardly any visible scarring.  I'm not convinced that massage or scar creams do anything more than make you feel like you're doing something good for yourself, but some people swear by them.
