So I had my surgery exactly one year ago.  As you can see from the results it is a dramatic improvement.  Now I am for the most part happy with the results considering what my previous appearance was.  My only concern are the creases that go across my areola/nipple areas.  As you can see this is not an issue when the nipple is erect.

Is there some sort of revision to correct this?  My doctor does not seem to think there is anything wrong and said he would leave them as is.  I'm still a bit uncomfortable taking my shirt off not knowing if the creases will be showing or not when I do. There is no tethering going on.  Is there some sort of filler that might help.

I was thinking of seeing another doctor for a second opinion.

Thanks for any information.

Agree -- significant improvement.

I do see what you are talking about and it will come down to deciding whether you can live with this problem or whether you wish to consider a surgical procedure to correct it.

It might be wise to get a second opinion from a gyne specialist.

I appreciate the response Dr. Jacobs.  What types of revisions are out there and available for these types of situations?  I'd like to do some further research if at all possible.

Thank you

I have written extensively about options for revision.  Check out:  w ww.gynecomastianewyork.com/revision/About-the-Surgery.asp (remove the space between the w's) and you can probably find some possible options for you.

Good luck!
