I am still puffy after one round on kenalog injections. Dr. Pensler said I may have to come back for a second round of injections. Certainly is looking that way. Original surgery was in June, and I got the injections in October. Hoping its just scar tissue causing the puffiness still and that the injections/more time will flatten them out more. Dr Jacobs how often do you recommend getting the injections as far as intervals?

I tend to be very aggressive with Kenalog and use a very strong dose.  Most often, only one injection be side is needed. If a second injection is needed, it is done usually 8 weeks apart.
