I've had them eversince I can remember (5 years old) and even when I was at my fittest weight wise I still had them so I see no other alternative but surgery, I am thinking about going to Dr. Jacobs since he seems extremely qualified with 30 years of experience, I dont care about the price and I just want to go to someone who will do an excellent job with minimal scarring

well here we are almost 3 years later and I never got the surgery, however beginning in 2008 I started running on a treadmill indoors then beginning summer 2009 I started running outdoors and I never would have thought that I could love running so much, I hope to complete a 50 mile ultra marathon sometime in 2011 but the best part is I have gone from 230lbs down to my current 162 lbs at 5'6 1/2 and the weight continues to drop, I hope to be in the 150s before the end of the year and most importantly my gyno is going away slowly but surely, alot of the improvement also has to do with diet, I always try to keep my body alkaline as apposed to acid :)

Well you do look better than you did before but your gyno is not going away, some of the fat that you had on your chest went away.  Gyno doesn't go way by dieting or exercise, surgery is the only way to get rid of gyno.  But I'm proud of you for losing weight and I wish you all the best.

yeah I thought the same as you did jaima, and its true for the past 3 years even with all my training and losing weight the gyno was still there now here is the crazy part, I have not exercised at all for 5 weeks in order to rest my legs from all the hardcore running I have been doing, all I did was tweak my diet and made it extremely strict and alkaline and I can honestly say that I have dropped from 170 to 162 in 5 weeks time without doing any physical activity other than walk and move around at work, and during this time I have really noticed a drop on chest fast so I think I have found a regimen that is going to get rid of all my chest fast in due time and thanks for your support bro, its appreciated, I will def keep you updated on my progress

If you have true gyno, then no matter how hard you work out you will be left with excess gland (since that can't burn off like fat can).

But if you've been told you have pseudogyno, then yeah you may be able to get it all burned off.  But from the original and current pictures, it looks like you may need excision in the end to get rid of the final gland in the end, although no lipo if you can burn off all the fat yourself.

I keep getting hard core porn across the top when I click on your picture. I'm not complaining but do you know? I also think you have done tremendously well, you are clearly a lot happier with your body shape and I look forward to seeing the final results having put in all that hard work. If you can get a shape you are happy, comfortable and confident with through exercise that has to be better than going under the knife.

Congratulations on your weight loss -- way to go!!!

Your chest appears substantially better -- but I suspect there will still be some residual breast tissue which simply will not respond to continued diet and exercise.  This last amount of tissue would have to be removed surgically in order to achieve a taut and muscular chest -- which I am sure exists under the excess tissue.

well here we are almost 4 months since my last post and I must say I have made more improvement. I am now down to 155lbs and still dropping and my gyno has definitely improved some more and I know that with my current regiment I will definitely get the chest shape I want in the near future :)

Congrats on your weight loss -- from 230 to 155 is an amazing accomplishment. And at 155 you look terrific -- don't know if much more weight loss would be healthy for you -- but only you can decide that.

However, my last comment still holds -- I think you will likely need some type of surgery to get rid of the last bit of solid gyne that will not respond to diet and exercise.

thank you Doctor, I appreciate the support, my goal is 147 lbs and if I feel I need to lose more weight once I reach that goal then I will and If in the end I do not get the results I am looking for then I will definitely be contacting you but I honesty do not believe I will need surgery, I will keep you all updated on my continued progress :)
