I did some research about the swelling

From what I found
The left over fat is absorbed by the body's lymphatic system (causing the bumpiness) and then drained away naturally taking anywhere from 2 to 6 months for the bumpiness to go away.

Im not sure how the drainage actually happens whether it's through sweat or going to the bathroom.

Comments?
Thanks

It will be 1 month on Dec 11 2008 since I had my surgery and I do have scar tissue under the skin.

I'm going to call my PS and ask if using a battery operated massager will help bring down the lumps faster.

I did read that if you massage the areas before exercise that you get good results.

Please comment.

Thanks,
Justin

I am 7 months post op and still have some scar tissue. It can take up to a year to go away for some. Hope this helps.
