I'm 18 and went for a physical not too long ago.  My doctor noticed my chest and I told her that it has been this way for years.  She wanted to test my blood for Gynecomastia to see if my thyroid was overactive.  The test results came back and said that my thyroid was acting normally, however my chest hasn't changed at all.  I just want to know what to do about this.

There are a variety of causes for gynecomastia. The most common variate is idiopathic gynecomastia. The translation of this is there is no specific reason that can be identified as to why your breast are enlarged.Correction requires resection of the abnormal breast tissue.
