All operations heal with scar tissue.  What you may be concerned with is a excessive growth of scar tissue, which sometimes occurs below the areolas.  This is quite unpredictable and is not under the control of the patient or the surgeon.  Objectionable scar tissue may develop anytime between 4 and 12 weeks after surgery -- with considerable variability.

The good news is that it can usually be treated non-surgically with a simple cortisone injection.  But these injections, too, are dependent upon the knowledge and skill of your surgeon.  When to inject, how much, what strength of cortisone, and the injection technique itself are all a matter of judgment and experience.

At this point, however, it is best to relax, allow your body to heal and don't worry about something that may not even occur.

As has been said its early so to quote Aaron Rogers ,RELAX ( post superbowl humor ). Remobilization, range of motion exercises and chest specific exercises has been successful for me to minimize scar and facilitate breakdown of scar after surgery in my patients.I would discuss with your surgeon your postoperative exercise regimen.
