Every spring its the same thing. Faced with taking off my baggy cloths once it starts to get warm

I slouch. Makes my back hurt and overall makes me feel icky and self concious.

Ive booked a consult but am concerned about my body fat and the how the results "show" especially if i loose weight after surgery.

Im 40 years old and honetly never even thought about surgery.
I stumbled on this site and am excited how my year will unfold.

My consult is in 2 weeks and am sure it will be a month + untill the surgery.

Hope i can drop 20 lbs by then.

Here are some pics.

Hey man!

Welcome to the forum!

It's been said here on this forum by doctors that loosing weight doesn't change the expected outcome.  It is also said that one should be at his lowest and most stable weight before going under the knife.

I suggest if you feel that you need to shed a few pounds, take your time and do so before the surgery, even if it means that you have the gyne during this summer.

Also, please do yourself a favor and see a board certified plastic surgeon who is specialized in gyne surgery.

Good luck!
---Bobby

Bobby's right as it go for a surgeon, don't look at cost for a deciding factor!

I feel so liberated. I stand taller and its effortless. I know its all in my head but i'm
Ok with that.
Before my breasts caught my poriferal and I would feel uncomfortable. Not now
Maybe its me but I actually think People arent looking at me as much.
Whatever is happening.  I like it!

Thanks !
My surgeon was dr Fielding
Its 3.5 weeks. Pain is still annoying and mostly uncomfortable. lOTS  of swelling. I am having problems posting pictures but am sure its very close to my pre op pics. Feeling very depressed about that.

Patients my friend, patience, healing takes time! I know it's hard I keep telling  that to myself as well. I'm up to 25 lb weight limit from my last back surgery on March 9th and still very limited as to what I can do, but I've got 6 plus months recovery, and will still be on limitations after that.

It hard, but it best to give your body the time it needs to recover, as this was my 3rd back surgery, so I've been there done that, and it doesn't get any easier but it's for the best!

Good luck
Bob

I remember the vest period, pretty annoying but as said it's for the best, keep up the good job
