I am 44 Years  old in very good shape.
I had surgery on March 3rd. On the 9th day after surgery I noticed fluid build up. I went back to the surgen and he extracted 20 cc of fluid from my right side and 12 cc from my left side. He now wants me back every mon-wed & friday.
A) How long will this go on?
B) How long will I have to wear my compression vest?
C) When can I go back to the stairmachine?
D)How long untill I can go back to lifting weights?
E) When can I go back to bowling?
Please help!
Thansk Craig

You will be able to see it, It looks like ripples of water under your skin. I went today myself and he extracted 12 cc from the left side and 7cc from the right.
Hope you do well!

the Dr. told me today that any fluid I have is between the tissues and is not something that he can just suck out.  :-/

On a positive note he did tell me that he usually sees a lot of swelling and I can expect my chest to start flattening out in a couple of weeks. All I can say is we'll see.
