  • Had expensive surgery... Now I'm flat busted!
No need to be nervous.  You'll be fine.   ;)

thanks a lot guys...i'll post tomorrow on how i made out..
What should i expect for recovery...I know it takes a while but i'm basically planning on laying on my couch for 2 1/2 weeks till i go back to school...i would like to go out on new years though, even if i cant drink...so i guess my quest is, is it necessary to rest all thatr time or can i go out after a day or two?

You will have no problems going out by the next day. You'll be a little sore like you worked out and won't be able to raise your arms for a few weeks but you'll be able to lift your beer bottle high enough for new years. It's not that bad bro. You'll be more than fine.
