whoa! im 29 days post op still cant sleep on my side properly.. am i paranoid??

maybe it was longer than 5 or 6 days, but it wasnt 29 thats for sure...depends on ur healing, i wouldnt worry about it other than being pissed you cant sleep well

Hi Desi...

I am 3 days post op now and already feeling fatigued with this recovery ritual.  Can only sleep on my back which I am not used to.  Not getting much sleep unless I get into a Vicodin enhanced daze.  Fun! 

When did you take your first shower after surgery?  I'm planning on taking it the day my drains come out (Wednesday) but am also a little nervous about getting water on me cuz I feel so fragile.

Any thoughts or addtional ideas would be appreciated.

i took my first shower 6 days after... i was stinkin real bad... lol...

How did you go to work with drains on?  Didn't you look all puffy with the loose clothing?  Anyone say anything?
