Hi there.
I'll try to keep my story short. Early 2006 I was on a drug called Propecia for hairloss treatment. The active ingridient in this drug is finasteride, wich inhibits type II 5-alpha reductase, the enzyme that converts testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), making us men.
Was 4 months into treatment, and yeah, it worked as hell for hairloss, but I experienced severe side effects aswell, wich I still struggle with as of today, I wont recommend this drug for anyone, its poison. In any case thats a different story that belongs to a different forum. One of the side effects while on this drug was gyno.

I've already been to my local doc about this and he sent me to a specialist that recognized my large mammary glands for what it is, he understood my problem but couldn't do surgery on me since I wasn't ill or anything by this, no cancer. I'll have to pay it myself at a private clinic someday.
Anyways, my gyno isn't my main issue as of today since finasteride fucked up my system much worse elsewhere, the reason I'm here is that I want opinions on my photos im posting.
I also recall that last year my left nipple was abnormaly bigger than the right one, right now the tables have turned and the right one is dominant. Wtf is up with that?

These pictures doesn't show much really, looking closer at them it doesnt seem much of a problem but I assure you it is. Walking around in t-shirts or strolling the beach is totally out of the question as I've already had nomerous comments on my chest. You guys probably know how much this sucks.

I might add that I am 23, healthy with a low fat %, doing cardio and weights every week.

First of all, your chest overall looks good. I can see what you're talking about but the contour of the chest looks pretty masculine overall. If you're going to fix this through surgery, it's gonna be an easy fix from what I have seen.

Man, propesia, I was also prescribed this thing for hair loss. Never took it though because one of the side effects I read was maybe enlargement of the breasts and lowering of sexual libido. I already suffer from enlarged breasts, so I did not want them to get any bigger ! I later on researched propesia and discovered the other dreadful side effects (which I won't mention here). My heart goes out to you man.

Okay to sum up, you have a great physique. Once you decide to fix the breasts, it's gonna get better. Good luck mate.

God i see so many horror stories around hair replacement/therapy dont think ive ever met anyone whos had a successfull treatment. Infact one of my relatives had hair implant surgery about 30 years ago in its infancy. And still has the scars to show for it now! (and 30kish down the drain)

As for your gyne anyway, from a front perspective it actually looks like you have a built chest luckily maybe its because your tensing but overall its a minor case of gyne. Not to say that it wont affect you just the fact that you will achieve good results after surgery!

Best of luck mate!

Yeah. Thanks for the encouraging words, appreciated.
I know my case isn't awfully severe but I plan on doing surgery when my economy allows so, will report back then.

Thanks again.

Yes, Propecia is a Drug That Can Cause Gynecomastia, and I have seen many patients unhappy with the contour problems that have resulted from such use.  Once the stimulation factor has stopped, contour problems tend to remain for many.

Body Shaping Garments without surgery have proven themselves a fantastic temporizing factor for many patients waiting until they can have surgery.  There is instant contour improvement (only while wearing the garment) as shown in the pictures.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for the reply doc, the compression vest looks great and might just be what I need.
Upon ordering I couldn't find any option for worldwide shipping, is this a service plasticsurgery4u.com doesn't support?
