Hey all!
So my surgery for male mastopexy is set for Dec. 15... I have a question regarding Post OP.

It will be christmas break for me (from college, I get to go to my hometown after my surgery and visit friends I haven't seen for months) and I was wondering how long I will be hindered useless, as in laying in bed. Can I get up and moving after a couple days? Also, how bad is the bandage / vest? I mean, will it be apparent I'm wearing something bulky and bunchy under my shirt?

Thanks!

you need to full rest around 3 days, you can walk around in your house, watch tv, be on the computer, or something but you cant do anything involving your chest muscles or lift your arms.
also chek this out o.o

I rested at home for 3 days then had my bandages taken off. after that you can go back to normal life with your vest on. it does not show itself if you do not wear tight clothes. my doc also recommended not to drive at least for a week.
