Had surgery 5 days ago and now recovering. today was my first follow up appointment after surgery. the bandages were removed and the moobs have gone with little scarring and virtually pain free after OP. just been told to avoid putting on weight again as there is a possible risk that fat may start to deposit there.
Regards the OP itself, I was on my own but was very well looked after during the stay, except for one nurse (you meet about 30 odd so its ok) and and the poor quality of food. (Dont order the roast chicken, unless you want to be put of eating chicken for the rest of your life).

surgery was a walk in the park. clocked into hospital 7.30am, got admitted, nurse done her usual admission questions and told to put on gown they provide. its the one where you arse shows and you are not allowed your own boxers on. Anyway got around it by getting a "paper pants", basically made out of tracing papaer material but do a good job of hiding your bits and the added advantage of keeping them on while in thaetare.

Then about 30 mins later doctor who puts me to sleep comes in to introduce himself and lets me know it is him behind the dodgy cap. half hr later nurse comes in and says lets go. Being a lazy sod I am expecting to be wheeled off in a chair or in the bed, indeed not, I am told I have to walk it there escorted by the nurse. anyway the bath robe+slippers+plus the paper pants really help me here. 30 secs walk and i am being to told to lay on bed.
Am anaethesised using propoful ( i think thats how you spell it).
Wake up 3 hours later in a room feeling like im in a freezer with cold air blowing, mouth dead dry and shivering.
Staff are very good and get the heater on me, with a large blanket that really helped and water sipped from staw.With in 10 mins am warmed up and whisked back off to en suite room. still a bit out of it, am left to dry! wake up after two hours and nurse is trying to take a bp reading and pulse. also time for lunch, excellent!
cant really see the effects as plastered up and bandaged.
once get home I take it easy for 3 days. bandage keeps falling so am constantly removing and replacing it. after 1st f ollow appointment results are seen in the mirror. I am happy and so is Mr. Yap. No more Moobs.!!!!!!!! job well done, excellent contouring and no hidden concavities. Scarring is minimal. wil be going in a months time to get pics of my new "masculaine Chest".
was sceptical at first using a surgeon who Id not heard of before especially on this website, but after surgery and follow up I would definetley recommend Mr.Yap. he has is own website called oneplasticsurgery.co.uk. (altough i only got to know him as I was reffered to him by BMI) Down to earth consulatant and excellent plastic surgery skills.
