Looking for testimonies on the above surgeon.

I've trailed thorugh every page on the UK board and there was only one guy who had had surgery with the surgeon named above. He was very happy, however that was back in 2004.

Are there any recent patients on the forum with testimonies on Mr H Hamed.

He does his work in Lewisham and London Bridge hospitals

I've already booked a consultation with him for next Wednesday.

Just booked my consulatation with him on 5th september.

Can't believe this is actually happening..

Hope I am given a similar price to you because I can't afford much more if any.

I don't know if I'm excited my gyne could be finally destroyed haha! or I'm just nervous about the amount of money i'm gunna spend..
sounds like this guy is good though from what your experiences were, his qualification list is almost longer than his name, which takes alot lol

I had surgery 1 week and 1 day after my consultation. Very fast.

I still haven't been drained so I can not see what my results were and as he is on holiday, I have to wait until the 29th before I can see him again. Hopefully, I can get drained then and once the fluid build up has been drained, I can post some pics of my results.

Apparently, the draining is not essential and it will go down by itself.

However, I don't see that happening. I've had no change for the past week.

Yup draining isn't essential ... the body should absorb it eventually.

BUT i can imagine if you feel theirs a LOT of fluid their, then you'd probably want it drained.

TurningACorner - wondered what your consultation fee is with Mr H Hamed - I've been quoted £200, then about £2300 for surgery.

That would be correct.
I paid:

£ 200 consultation
£ 565 Mr Hamed & anaestheist fee
£1700 hospital fees

£2465

Whats the latest with the fluid as above???

Im post op now and the day after I didnt have much bleeding so Levick was positive that I wouldnt bleed so he removed the drains, I think everythings fine ... but I cant tell if theirs any fluid in me or not. I was able to lift my arm a bit and change my t-shirt today as well which I think is a good sign :D

It was a week before the fluid built up on one side of my, chest so just take it easy. I think I over did it by going back to work after only 6 days.

After having it drained there was a bit left which took about 2 weeks to go away.
