Hi,

I've had gyno for about 4 years now since i was 13 and now i've decided i'm gunna try and get rid of it :)
i understand that to do this i need to block estrogen and raise testostrone.

so what im planning on doing is.......

to block estrogen, i'm gunna take 1000mg of vitamin C, 100 mg of Zinc and 6 turmeric tablets.

to raise testostrone i'm gunna take tribulus

I'm 17
5,8
12 stone (170lbs)
11-12% body fat (me thinks)
very active (Parkour, calisthenics and bodybuilding)
and i eat 5 very healthy meals a day

dunno if any of that helps at all

Thanks for any help
Peace!

  • My body is my temple.
So you're a healthy 17 year old with gynecomastia.  The mere thought of screwing with your hormones is bad.  You understand you don't reach the end of puberty until you're mid 20s right?  I wouldn't go messing with things right now.

Your plan will most likely do absolutely nothing.  The breast tissue has proliferated and now it will stay that way if it has stayed there for the past 4 years.  It's not going anywhere no matter how much vitamins and minerals you put in your system.

I'm not trying to insult you, but the idea is weak.  You don't sound like this is ruining your life so you've got that much at least.
You're just going to end up jacking off more each day and you'll have a lot more vitamins and minerals in your system.

Your chest will most likely remain the same.  Building muscle can mask things or it can make it worse depending on your Gynecomastia.

Sorry.   :P

Ok thanks for the reply :)

Ohh btw i forgot to say that i've got breast tissue under my left nipple and a load of fat and a gland under my right nipple which makes it puffy and makes it look like i have a boob :(

I've been losing fat for the past 2 months and im going to carry on doing so because that has seemed to have reduced the size of it a little bit.
Will any of the supplements reduce or get rid of that?

Thanks again

supplements probably won't do anything to get rid of it and I definately wouldn't touch the tribulus, especially at 17.

Because your are still developing and I wouldn't manually adjust your hormone balances for that reason alone. Also Tribulus in it's retail form hasn't been proven to achieve the results you are aiming for. Just increasing testosterone can have bad effects, irritability, mood swings, aggression. But...on saying that it's your body.

Here's something I found on Tribulus:

"Tribulus is a genus of plants found in many warm regions. The best-known member is T. terrestris (puncture vine), a widespread weed and also the source of a dietary supplement claimed to increase the body's natural testosterone levels and thereby improve male sexual performance and help build muscle. T. terrestris has consistently failed to increase testosterone levels in controlled studies.[2][3][4] It has also failed to demonstrate strength-enhancing properties.[5] However, many supplement brands such as 4Ever Fit and InterACTIVE Nutrition sold products that combines various herbs with tribulus terrestis, which has been a debate whether the effects are true or false."

Not that I'm saying Wikipedia is totally accurate but increasing sex drive and muscle growth is unlikely (in my view) to reduce breast tissue.

Ok, so tribulus wont do anything for me at all?

Do you reckon if i wait untill i finish puberty it might go away then or if i lost weight and got down to say, 5-6% body fat that would get rid of my fatty gyno and gland/puffy nipples or is that a waste of time?

It probably wont go away if its as bad as you say it is.  I wouldnt do anything (prohormones, steroids, herbals nothing that messes with your hormones) though to try to fix it at your age.  If your lucky it might still go away because your only 17.  I would wait until I was 19 and if you still have it - dont wait another second and get it cut out

ive took

Letzerole
Cabergoline
Raloxifene
Tamoxifen
Clen

Naturals like
Zinc (Zinc Matrix)
Turmeric

and i took all of the various courses. They wont help you mate seriously (esp the puffy nipple size). The only case these would help is if the gyne was newley formed (a year or less) ! These drugs are going to WASTE your money. The only people these drugs work for are juicers who are taking them on courses with steroids

if you really want to take them though see a doctor and get them prescribed correctley! Never self medicate

I agree with thetodd, they probably won't work, but since I've tried them and didn't have any negative side effects I'm not as negative about it, it's probably not a big deal as long as you know what you're doing and are careful about it.  I also agree on the Tribulus, it won't help with gyne, in fact, it could make it worse.

I've tried:

AIFM
Cabaser
Exemestane
Yohimburn

None of them worked for me either.  You really need to catch it in the first couple years or it is not likely to have any effect.  The AIFM definitely helped me lift more and you can get that otc.  The cabaser is also marketed as an alternative to Viagra, although I didn't really notice anything down there while I was taking it, I was on a pretty low dose though :)
