Thinkin' about taking the plunge and getting my enlarged breasts removed, but was wondering just how permanent the surgery actually is. Will the tissue grow back over time?

Hopefully

Should be permanent. Only unresolved hormonal imbalances would cause regrowth, but this is rare and you shouldn't be having surgery if hormones are out of whack.

The other thing to consider is that if you gain weight post op, your breast area will gain fat along with alot of other places. So if you do have the surgery (and IMO why not if your breasts bug you? - apart from £3-4,000 that is) try not to get fatter after, 'cos surely that is rather undermining the whole effort.

Hope that is of some use. Good luck. Webster.
BTW I had this surgery at 40, wish I had done it at 35, or 25 for that matter....
