I'm going on holiday with a few mates in the summer and dont really want them to notice iv had an operation. i will hopefully be a few months post op by then, will it be noticeable at all? i have quite a mild case (if there is such a thing)

Healing depends on a whole range of factors such as your age, type of surgery, amount of tissue removed and your own bodies ability to deal with fluid retention and bruising.

As a *general* rule of thumb, you should be bruise free within four weeks.  Scarring will probably take longer, but if like me your incisions are next to the armpit, they are barely noticeable from almost straight away.  And don't exposes any scars to UV light or direct sunlight for six months as this can make them more prominent.
